Personally I think that scientists are getting worse and worse with their naming ideas .. I mean, come on Beelzebufo? :P Nothing hellish about a big amfibian.

I bet they made it scarier than it really would be, with the evil 'eyebrows' and all. All they have is a skeleton to go by, the rest they just make up :P

Thats because your tiny Rose. I could probably lift you up in one hand. Personally, I don't think the frog looks all that scary. I've seen alot scarier things.

I agree with Zan, the name is terrible! It looks almost more like a caricature drawing or something.

It kinda looks like they took the coloring of a scaly dinosaur and strapped it on a blown up picture of a Toad.

If you think about T-Rex, his coloring is about the same.

And gah, that name, they really couldn't think of a better description and why call it frog from hell in period of time when there was a whole lot of other creatures bigger and more dangerous than it. They said it's about as big as a rugby ball, that is under the arm big, not terribly larger than a fat cat actually. :D

They probably just wanted some attention grabber, seeing as noone really cares all that much what they dig up anymore. I mean it's interesting, but hardly worth paying attention to over family members possibly dying in other countries or increase in psychopaths lately. :P

Archaology rocks! There's loads of history stored away in the earth, so many answers.
