Not sure if this goes here or in the general discussion tab. Heh.

Anyway, this past wednesday, me and some local kin friends met up to go to a haunted house.
As we stood outside awaiting a friend, there was the crazy sound of a chainsaw and screams rending the air. Excitement boiled under the surface as we waited for our turn.
Two of my friends had already been to a haunted house, so I was elected the one to lead us in considering I'd never been before. It was great!

First thing you feel is air blowing out at you as you walk through the darkened doorway, (this was a morgue we walked in btw), and then came the screams and music. There was fake blood on the walls, a crazy person rocking back and forth in their chair, the walls were rattling, floor was moving, and clowns everywhere. Then there was also a meat locker type area, where you can't go forth without having to push aside heavy sacks that were like the size of those sand punching bags, only they moved and people were in them O.O

Once you got past the strobe lighted doors with zombies jumping from behind each one, we hit a dead end. There appeared no way forward, and there was a clown camouflaged with the wall leaning over you. Then you notice a crack in the black inflatable bumper and only choice you have is to push your way into this stuff and be engulfed in total claustrophobic darkness. It's so far over your head you can't see above, below, or even 2 inches in front of you. Don't even know where you'll emerge, and emerge we did at last and someone jumped out of the wall. Then we got to go into this really cool optical illusion type tunnel, where it was going in a circle with orange and red, and you get on this bridge that's moving so you feel like you're going in circles or will be dumped on your head.

After getting chased a bit more, with twists and turns, you see the exit ahead, but behold the door crashing open, emitting a pink clown with a chainsaw to see you on your way out.

It was totally cool! We would've went a second time, but a wolf who was supposed to meet us car broke down, so then we went to get lost, get found, find some food and called it a night. lol

Totally great!

Just thought I'd share that.

*Grins* Our friend who was a coyote and only guy, was like me and my other friend giggled too much.

We figured that some people are screamers and criers, then there's those who'd be gigglers. I wasn't sure which I'd be until I went in. I was a screamer and a giggler.

It was like an automatic reflex, something would scare or startle me and I'd scream then be like awesome I got scared and I'd laugh at myself.

And of course the sarcastic half of my brain that's like oh wait, I'm lost, how do i get lost in a small morgue and so laugh at myself for that reason as well. So yeah we giggled the whole 5 minutes through.

*Sticks tongue out at Zan* Shush you. At

least wasn't as bad as the one girl who ran out and leaned against the wall and broke down into hysterical tears.

Then again, that's probably why her boyfriend took her so she'd depend on him afterward. So then could say, Men

Oh men suck, don't have to convince me of that. Wouldn't be suprised at all if you're right and that boyfriend did take his girl to get scared shitless so he'd feel superior and manly.

*Grins at Arctic and High Fives*

Now to be the contrary Gemini that I am.

I must point out, that even if guy invited along, she could say no to being scared and it'd ruin his brilliant plan.

However as most people long for the way things were in the olden days, where men were meant to be heroes and women damsels in distress, she probably wanted to go for that specific purpose. To let him be manly and protect jane, and she could simply reward him later. Win win :D

Seeing two sides to everything takes so much fun out of life. lol

Heh, though we have many throughout the U.S. first time you go is almost like a rite of passage whether young or old.

You're always encouraged to ride scariest rides, go into the scariest scary houses, and usually are picked first to go in or get on the ride, if it's your first time. Or so I've found it has been for me everytime I've gone on a roller coaster ride or been to a scary house. lol.

I do these things cause I have no clue how I'd handle it. Logic usually wins out so much, or the ooh squirrel moments that are wired into my brain, or rather like with the haunted house, ooh look an operating table with a body on it. How curious. I want to see. How fast can I get through this thing to see. Yes, yes I know you're crazy, but you're in my way, yikes, body bags, but still in my way, whoa getting dizzy, but goal is near and yes! I'm in the room with a body that's carved open and hey that looks fake. Oh well, being pushed along anyway, hope I don't get lost.

Yeah, not much room in my head to really be scared. lol.

So it's fun to test the limits whenever I get the chance, and so I create opportunities to get the chance to see how I'll react in all situations :D Well most anyway. ;) Next biggest goal, skydiving, getting in a cage with sharks, swimming with dolphins once I actually learn to swim and facing down tarantulas behind glass of course. ^_^
