Movie Reviews, book reviews, How about Game Reviews? :P

For newest Game Play, or even new to you board game, tell us what you thought. Doesn't necessarily need a rating.

Okay, I'm excited, so yeah, Post first.

Tonight, went over sis's house and me and Brother in law, tag teamed new game called Condemned 2: Bloodshot for Playstation 3.

Now at first I thought this game would be a silent hill/ resident evil like game and having your main character being a drunk didn't boost my interest too much. But considering how much I enjoyed silent hill, though hadn't tried the craze when it started, decided to play the game. It was then I learned what a fantastic Game for me to play.

Not sure if there are others out there, but it was like An rpg, mixed in with horror, mixed in with detective work. It always keeps you on your toes and jumping away from the screen.

Unlike most games where the only buttons you usually push are the the shapes or the arrows, this game, you have to do every movement individually. To punch right is R1, and left is L1, To look around is R joystick and move is L joystick. Each shape is involved and so is the R2 Button.

You first start off learning to fight. Parry, block, counterattack, chainsaw punch, kick and so many others. Then you have to learn to look for clues and follow what the tv says. Then you have monsters that can solidify in front of you at any moment. Constantly have to look up, down, left and right. Multiple enemy attacks. Then in the middle of all this killing and monsters, you have to stop and examine dead bodies, and collect evidence, like look at body and is it an exit wound or entry wound and was the body dragged, so you get to use a uv light and follow hidden trail of blood.

If you're not a fan of blood and gore, don't play this game.

I personally thought it was awesome. Only draw back, unsure if it was just our game and tv, but the writing to tell you what you need to do sucks, gotta have it quiet or headphones to hear what team members are saying and it takes one too many punch combos performed perfectly to properly kill your enemies.

Otherwise if you like being on the edge of your seat and solving a mystery with lots of action, fun game to play. I loved it. Haven't finished it yet though, so don't know if it lasts a long time :P
