Oh I heard of that cult thing. Though it's one of those facts that you store away and kinda forget where you heard it.

As for worshipping, yeah, I don't worship. It's nothing about defiance or thinking I have to be superior or inferior to my deity. It's just I never learned the true meaning of worship until I'd already established my rapport with my deity.

I simply follow a strict code of honor. Well not as strict, but it's got the whole, thou shalt not fight with one weaker than you. If you are strong, your duty is to protect the weak as best you can. Honor your friends wishes and respect their individuality. Respect your elders with the exception that they have to earn your respect for their age, rather than just respecting any old ornery cuss. Etc.

It's the same deal with my deity. He respects my limitations and faults as a human being. I respect that he will not directly interfere, but he will be there if I need to talk, support or in my hardest times when noone else is there. I can't guarantee he's there, but there have been many a time, more when I was in tune with my instincts than now. I'm still in tune with my instincts, they've just dulled with recent stresses.

However, yeah, that's my version of worship, heh.
