Per my usual wordiness, skip to the question at the end if you want to know what to post :p.

I got a nice bell on the trip to moving me into town for my first year of college three years ago. It wasn't a generic bell, it had a nice, soft, musical chime to it. I don't have anything else to compare it to. It was dark blue, shiny sandy looking texture (but it was smooth), golden stars and moons decorated the rest of it.

Image

Anyways, I've worn that bell ever since I start college up until the last summer, when the rope that held it on the metal clips kind of . . . . almost seems like it deteriorated, it wasn't a clean cut snap or unravelling. I tried using a metal necklace chain at that point, but I think some hair got caught in it and made it unbelievably irritating to wear, so I stopped wearing it.

I did wear a nice (albeit cheap) silver wing necklace, and a tribal phoenix necklace with the bell for a while, but not so long.

Bla bla skipping some parts bla.

Now that I'm getting the hang of life back in town without college, I've started wearing the phoenix necklace again now by itself as a reminder of how some things in my life are ending, and some things are beginning anew. I guess it's kind of a symbol/reminder/kick in the ass not to get all tangled up inside if things don't feel right. They won't stay that way forever. The best you can do if learn while you're there and try to be happy in the meantime. Blabla . . . .So does anybody have anything that they wear that means a lot to them on some level?

I hardly buy any jewelry unless it has a certain energy to it. A year ago I bought two necklaces I wear all the time. One was a wolf necklace I wanted to buy, but didn't really consider anything special, until I realized how the water seemed to reflect it's energy in the gem the wolf holds. My other necklace was a moon necklace I bought at our state fair here. It's the moon I was born under, and every 19 years that same moon shines on my birthday. The necklace also absorbs sunlight and glows in the dark at nighttime. :P

I have a few bracelets, but necklaces are my main thing and I have only the two really. Want one with some sort of tinkly bell on it. :D Although my moon fell off the necklace I was given, so need to fix one of the ones I have

But anyway, rambling. Heh

my pentagram which i am rarely without, and my claddagh ring which always displays the truth for people to see and interpret as they will.

the pentagram always gives me peace and a sense of belonging to somehthing bigger than i am i.e. the wiccan faith, also it makes me feel secure and calm in times of trouble.

recently my claddagh has scared me with many changes, none of them felt unnatural yet i was confused.

now my treasures are giving me strength in a journey time, my own priority is me not worrying about living for or pleasing anyone else, i'm gaining a sense of who i am and the symbol of my faith along with the independence of my heart are helping me get there.

Most things that mean a lot to me I get tattooed...since I haven't figured out what tattoo I want to get to represent otherkin stuff, I wear a septagram quite a bit. I'm also quite attached to a ring I got in 4th grade that's got a spiral on it.

Most of my energy goes into anything I touch. Such as all of my stuffed animals. If I get particularly attached, a part of my energy pours into it and oddly enough stays pure heh

So I'm like when I feel bad I surround myself by them, and when I wear my necklaces, it always feel full of energy :)

Personally I don't place much value into objects ... it's easier to hold the meaning within myself so I can't forget it and am never without it.

Yeah an advantage of not placing meaning into too many objects is that you can throw them away when spring cleaning without feeling too bad

Or if you're disorganised and often misplace objects. :P

Heh, I rarely have anything left from my place, only the things that I has fond memories of.

My dolls I created an entire world with. Gave em birthdays, full names, birth certs, and so on. Even came up with phone numbers and all that. They were my mini kingdom of fighters I shared with my bro when younger. That and I has horrible energy controlling skills when younger, so I put most energy in, without realizing it.

I place value in something as it oft reminds me of things long lost, but it's usually happy memories :) Such as pocket watch I have somewhere, that was my first ever gift from a friend I received when I was 20 ^_^

I've got some rings that belonged to my aunt who died last year, one is an emerald, one is an opal, and one is a saphire.
