The Unborn
1/5
They get a 1 because I managed to sit through it and got a few laughs out of it.
However that is the only redeeming quality of the movie. I'm not much of a scary movie fan anymore, because for one, they're not scary anymore and two, they just end up recycling old plot lines with like a small tweak in the storyline.
Perhaps if you scare easily, this movie will be good. However for me, I just so happened to be thinking a bit too logically to actually be able to enjoy the movie. Not to mention when they dropped the old plot line with the 'new' twist, just lost all interest for me. I watched it to the end because I hate unfinished movies, and got a good laugh, however, this movie sucked.
I wouldn't recommend watching it, lest you end up with more unanswered questions than the movie warrants thinking about. :S

X- Men Origins: Wolverine 5/5 If you're not overly concerned with it following any comic books, or really much of a stickler for Gambit to be an exact copy out of the book, I'd say you'd definitely like this movie. Personally I loved it. I liked the way it started out, I liked the pace of it, I loved wade wilson the little bit saw of him and especially the fight scene at the end. That was totally awesome ^_^ We all know X-men movies have to have a major end fight scene. Teehee. overall it's a movie I do want to watch again, preferably with some kettle corn and less kids hopping up and down or drooling on my lap. hehe I'm trying to find a downside for it, but so far it gets a total 5/5

Law Abiding Citizen
3/5
This movie kinda depends on whether you'll end up liking it or not. I can't say it was great, but it wasn't terrible. I can say what I did love about it, was that the director of the movie knew that what you don't know, doesn't need to be seen, but also knows how to get the point across. Most movies these days think you have to show all the gory details and it kinda ruins the experience. This movie kept it simple and clean. That also was the problem. In keeping it simple, it wasn't able to develop properly in that it kept going from scene to scene which gave it the look of a crime scene slideshow. Perhaps that's what the director intended.
nonetheless it was also technically a very sad movie, and of course had it's valid points about the american legal system, but most americans do know the constant back and forth of it all, so you don't get all riled up. It's just a portrayal.
That's all

This is going to be two movie reviews in one. My Sister's Keeper 5/5 One of the saddest movies I've watched since Pay it Forward and much more powerful. Although many of the actors were young and basically were the main characters of the movie, they did a very outstanding job. Especially the young woman fighting against leukemia. They didn't hold anything back from the movie and let it play itself out as it should. You got a chance to connect to each and every character and feel you grew with them. I would definitely recommend seeing this movie, as I know I intend to buy it. Though it's relegated to the heartfelt shelf, where gladiator and Pay it forward type movies are kept. heh. Star Trek 5/5 as well Once upon a time I was a trekkie and surprised myself with how many of the crew I still remembered and cheered for as they appeared by name in the new movie. I felt the same excitement as I did when I watched chronicles of narnia. Seeing the origins behind commander spock, captain kirk, scotty and many of the other residents aboard the uss enterprise. I totally love loved it when at the end they said the opening phrase. Space, the final frontier, these are the voyages...etc. I was like yeehaw that was awesome. Total enthusiast here, and definitely a movie I'll be adding to my collection, as if I didn't need to give it back to rental store, I would've merely pushed play again and watched the movie a second time. Hmmm That's all *Cheers, chases tail, and runs off*
