Seen a good movie lately, or one that makes you want to gouge your eyes out it was so bad. Post your review :)

Most everyone knows I'm a movie buff and harsh critic of most films.

Tonight's review.

The Prestige - 4/5

The movie loses a point due to the somewhat slow and erratic nature of the movie. Perhaps it was meant to be so, but unless you're fully awake you're bound to fall asleep on the movie, before it really gets good.

That being said, there truly is only one word syllables that can be used at the end of this movie. Wow, Whoa or well more syllables could be used, but those were truly the only words that came out of my mouth.

The movie left me in awe of whoever came up with the idea for this movie. I personally thought it was great, and ending so good, you have to see it.

I'd recommend, you sit down and have a bowl of popcorn with this movie, and time to get through it to the end, otherwise the movies not much worth watching at all.

So what are you waiting for? Go watch it! :)

(Only for those who like suspense thrillers and solving movie puzzles)

The Brave one - 3/5

I can't say this movie is like a WOW movie. It's a little on the long side, but it's to cover emotions to capture full essence of what movie is about.

Basis - Woman has tragic incident in the park that proves fatal for her fiancee. So she becomes a vigilante and rest is pretty much up to watching.

It does keep you wondering and guessing, but wasn't all that spectacular, though could be described as good and watchable, if you have time to sit through it.

30 Days of Night - 2/5

Graphics and Dialogue killed the movie. Was more like a campy thriller like Eight legged Freaks, than a serious movie to be a blockbuster hit.

Think the only part of the movie that was interesting at all was the ending.

Definitely not a must see. :P

30 days of night

OMG! What a shit movie! 0/5

What kind of shit plot was that? I mean I would have liked it better if they focused less on the bloor and gore and made tha vampires mroe refined, developed their characters more, and added sensible dialogues

*laughs* It was horrible and the music was stupid as well. Like underworld except much worse.

Then the whole we lived centuries to make them believe we were myths, would've been even more interesting, yet your mind thinks, if they spent centuries making them believe they were myths, why couldn't they have spent centuries developing english or some language other than ick ock utocka. :P

Sounds more like neanderthals.

Exactly, that blood around their mouths thing was just uncivilized and they go around with their mouths hanging all open and how did they survive during the other 11 months of the year that there was sunlight? Just dumb everything is all.

I gave it two though, cause ending was touching still. Sucky, but touching. That was the only real acting part of the movie, though there were many shouted suggestions at the screen when watched it with my sis. LOL

Lestat would deeply disapprove and so would my dark-hunters. ;)

yeah the ending was the only remotely interesting part i feel

now for cartoon movie review :P

Horton Hears a Who: 3.5 stars

The best thing about this movie is it being family friendly and entertaining for all. The moral of the story was an important one: a person is a person no matter how small

The characters were cute and it was enjoyable. However, i gave it a 3.5 because it wasn't that funny. From the makers of Ice Age you just expect a level of hilarity. It was amusing but not laugh out loud funny.

All in all a great family movie.

The Mist - Based on the novel by Stephen King

3/5 - To be expected from any book to movie adaptation, acting wasn't all that good. I liked how it started in on the action almost immediately. A little too on the long side.

Does have the ability to draw you in though.

Another none wow movie, but it was okay.

Love in the Time of Cholera - 4/5

Haven't read the book so I can't comment on how it compares.

I liked the plotline and it got me all emotional at several points. Nice and happy ending which made me happy too. This is the type of movie I really like.

not 5/5 though because I felt there was something missing in the way stuff was acted out...not sure how to explain but it felt like something important was being left out..could just be me

Skinwalkers - 2/5

There was really only one thing I liked about this movie. The actor Jason Behr branching out into an older role. Fave dude in Roswell the series, but he was a fairly good part for the role.

As for the rest of the movie, I was annoyed. The werewolves looked like wolfman from cartoons, plot was haphazard at best, and stupid hawk flying around made no sense whatsoever, and why call them skinwalkers if they only become werewolves. I was hoping they'd take many forms.

I do admit the middle plot though predictable did slightly make me pause a moment, but other than that, totally predictable movie.

27 dresses - 5/5

saw this online quite a while ago but here is my review:

thoroughly entertaining and typical rom-com...very satisfying

it was funny at parts and emotional at parts, and also fun in terms of all those weddings...the plot was certainly different and completely new

you end up being able to sympathise with the main character very well and i started to hate the sister...it's very good at involving the audience in that way

all in all: an entertaining romantic comedy
