hi. allow me to introduce myself. i'm grimlock. i'm a dwarf otherkin. i awoke as a dwarf 6 months ago. after my awakening, i started having past life memories as a dwarf. during my past life i was a metalworker and a blacksmith. i would make all the weapons and tools necessary to keep the dwarf society running. i lived for 300 years and died of old age. i have a vast collection of rocks, stones, and metals. i do a lot of metalwork (a.e. wire sculpture). i've had a fascination with dwarves all my life.

Welcome It's a general rule of thumb that your personality, likes and dislikes, physical aspects, etc. are a product of being human. Sure there might be some overlap, but if something can be explained via being human...it really should be. Also, past life memories can be a tricky thing to rely on, mainly because the mind can create and change memories from this life as well as any past lives someone may or may not have had. They can be a good jumping off point and can turn out to be "real memories" but they really shouldn't be taken as absolute proof and that "shadow of a doubt" is a good thing to keep around. It keeps you honest, you know? So how did you come to the conclusion that you're dwarf-kin?

Welcome to the Grove *Tosses blue bouncy ball in friendship* Dreams can be a good start to figuring out what you are after you ascertain that something is indeed amiss in this life. I do find myself curious as well as to I guess the feeling behind your discovery. It's always nice to relate or hear new awakenings around this forum. Not enough sometimes. I do have to ask though. How often when you say you're a dwarf are you mistaken for being an actual dwarf? I myself am a somewhat short person, so it made me curious. What's the difference between dwarf little people and dwarves blacksmiths As you probably have guessed I've never met a dwarf before. Just like I've also never met a unicorn until recently. ^_^ Anyway, looking forward to enlightenment

Hello and welcome to the grove! I just have to ask ... do dwarven women really have beards?

Hi, welcome to the grove To be honest, I feel skeptical about you as your description sounds 100% like a run of the mill fantasy dwarf. In addition you have a similar naming convention to icicle33 who is a shadowcorn. But, it could be that I am being overly paranoid. If thats the case then accept this welcome gift *hands him a black rose*
