She wanted to stay in his arms. It was so cozy here, and outside the wind blew so strong.
She wanted to stay in his arms. There was no fear right here, when all the world went wrong.
She wanted to stay in his arms. To be assured that she was loved and cared for.
She wanted to stay in his arms. Until her mounting problems existed no more.

She wanted to hold him tight. To take away any loneliness he felt.
She wanted to hold him tight. Lending her own strength, like pants were lent by a belt.
She wanted to hold him tight. Just to feel his body next to hers.
She wanted to hold him tight. There was no better place she would have preferred.

She had to leave to return to the world that she despised.
She had to leave, feeling more vulnerable like a little girl dropping her womanly disguise.
She had to leave so the world could move on and her pains would begin.
She had to leave so no one would think she was a weakling again.

But she wanted to stay, for she would not forget this one night stand
She wanted to stay, so she would not forget this caring man
She only wished that they had a few moments more
Because the memories they created, she would forever adore
Taking a last look at him, she knew they had done no wrong
Because she could always return to the one whose loving arms were so strong.

He came to her, wrapping her in a warm embrace
He came to her, spreading kisses all over her face
He came to her, and said "Do not worry."
He came to her smiling and in no big hurry

He moved around her to block off the door
He moved around her bringing her curiosity more and more
He moved around her absorbing her sight
He moved around her wanting to hold her tight.

He knew he had the power to blot out the world
He knew he had the power to make a woman out of this girl
He knew he had the power to make her forget
He knew he had the power to make her cry yes!

He walked towards her, unleashing energies within
He walked towards her, knowing that passion would win
He walked towards her, inducing the memories she loved
He walked towards her, as rain broke from the heavens above

The rain afforded them one more night
An evening that lead to a beautiful sight
These two separate souls were alone no more
Because they had each other, from now until deaths door.
