Hello again. I don't know if any of you remember me from a few months back, but I'm now back as a Marine. I'm currently stationed in Ft. Sill, OK while I await training as a Scout Observer. I just wanted to drop in to say hello again. (Sorry if this gets a bit random.)

It's a bit funny, really. I never realized how much I don't really like people until I joined the military. This isn't to say that we aren't brothers in arms, because if/when it comes right down to it, I'd be right beside them. I no longer have any time to myself. There's always someone right there, no matter where you go. I miss the forest, as there is none around here that is immediately available. I was going to go home for a while, but I'm not able to now, seeing as my recruiter didn't fax off the paperwork in time. On the flipside, though, I did find a pagan/druid meetup group here on base so I'm going to see what that's all about.

There's been something unfolding at home. My parents have been having legal issues with the neighbors and when videotaping the back yard and surrounding property, a man and a girl separately appeared in different areas on film, though they actually weren't there. My mom went to take a picture right when the sun was beginning to set, while there was still plenty of light. The picture turned out completely black with misty forms and shapes in it. Even the date in the bottom right hand corner appeared pixellated and messed up. Any ideas on that? Word is that back in the fifties, a family lived there that went swimming somewhere and a freak train derailing killed all of them.

Anyways. That about wraps it up for now. I hope everyone has been doing well.

Welcome back!

I definitely know what you mean with needing privacy and space. I occasionally need to take a weekend and just do nothing, no getting together with friends, going out or any of that.

Just me, myself and I.

Welcome Back.

You always learn to dislike having ppl around all the time when it impedes with what you're used to. Ie: Your forest and stuff.

I know ever since been surrounded by ppl nearly 24/7, I miss running under moonlight and just being without worry of what others might see or think.

That's definitely interesting about the pics. It's possible could be something, as we all know we are not alone in the world, and some of us are those things that lets us know we aren't alone in the world :P
