I wrote this while sitting on the steps, looking at the gray sky today. Heh.
I stretched it out a bit, but it's poetry, so shush and read on.

Opposite Worlds

Here I see a day sky, there you see twilight
Here I have my day dreams, while yours take the night
I am getting ready, while you're getting undressed
I will hear good day, and you'll hear good rest
Two worlds divided and yet they're just the same
Separated Countries, by more than just a name
Eight Hours difference, A fascinating thing
And when it's time to switch sides, my heart begins to sing
The darkness comes to greet me, Feral instincts start to rise
It's time to finally shed my humanly disguise
A long day of work, rewards with one last test
Do I have the patience for friends who are the best
To wake to their morning and say Hello to me
Yes I do, I think and wait most curiously
For Who will come on first, To whom Do I say Hi?
Will it be enough time before we say goodbye?
For in their topsy turvy lives, their world is waking up
And mine will soon be ending as my tired eyes fall shut
Only to awake again to repeat history
Where I will see the light and they will be asleep

*Grins* Yeah and for once was not a gloomy poem.

Okay not for once, but not another gloomy one :P

BTW, Twas inspired by all my crazy friends with an 8 hour time difference or different time zone :)
