So for those of us that write stuff...what do you write mostly? Poetry, prose? fiction, non-fiction? What genre? Are there any particular topics you like to explore?

I myself write a lot of poetry that reflects romantic topics or feelings but as you should know, have started writing a fantasy story! I was never good with fiction though so this is a few for me.

What about everyone else?

Poetry, very rarely .. when I'm in the mood. Which is usually either gloomy, prophetic or fueling hope and dreams.

Song lyrics and the occasional poem. I tried my hand at short stories for a while, but lost all my work due to an ex-gfs manic moment. Kind of lost the desire to put that much work into writing after that.

I mostly write whatever mood I'm in. Can be happy poetry to joys of playing at the beach, to somberly discussing the reigns of society, and other times a small idea becomes a big long drawn out war for 150 pages like Ileon.

So most often I write fiction, shapeshifters, romance. trying to expand, and exceeding not at all. I write for myself, just kinda want them all bound so I can enjoy my characters at a later date, if not in author light, if that makes sense.

I think if action is a genre, that'd be the one I'm most into writing.

Another question is, how'd you get into writing really?

For me, I got into writing because I wanted to create a character. And in trying for one, well I created many others, hee

i got into writing as a way to sort of ground my negative feelings or feeling in general...put them onto paper or just get inspired by it and poetry just formed around it

as for my fiction writing, my current story got started with an image in my head of someone looking out to sea from a white balcony

We write songs just about everyday, but mostly its just to pass the time inbetween missions. Personally, I write propaganda such as persuasive essays. I also indulge in poetry and short stories.

I write poetry for some of the same reasons as Rose. I write to get things off my mind. Maybe an even balance between positive and negative, but usually negative is the more pressing thing to get off of me.

I write mostly fiction that involves vampires and sometimes werewolves. I'm working on a vampire novel at the moment, though it's going slowly.
