They said it was like fake cause of the way the flag rippled or something and they're like there's no air on the moon or wind. Although the problem is always how can we tell if they land on the moon if we're not there ourselves, although it would depend on if we can make our viewer into the past see things and not have to feel them. Then be like okay we know they did or didn't. Honestly I'd like to go back and check once and for all who came first. Humans or Dinosaurs. Everyone claims they don't exist, despite the obvious bones humans can't make, however some claim adam and eve were here first. So I'd go back just so I could be like all right, so the creatures made for adam and eve to interact with were dinosaurs and then adam and eve came after the asteroid or whatever hit oh and to see if the theory behind supervolcanoes was real

I'd like to go back and see if we really evolved from the sea.
Some scientists believe that humans used to live in the sea, and eventually became land creatures.

Nightwolf, you live in the bible belt or something? Who claims that dinosaurs never existed? Sounds like unscientific brainwashing. There's loads of evidence that dinosaurs were around for many years and they are much, much older than the first humanoid creatures on this rock. The creation story is, in my opinion only a story and adam and eve are fictional figures. The whole thing serves a good purpose in teaching morality and claiming that there is something divine watching over existence but it shouldn't be taken literally. All scientific evidence is against the creation theory and for an evolution theory (just isn't totally clear which exact evolution theory yet). As for humans living in the sea .. well that's evolution too. All life on this earth comes from the oceans but the life that emerged from the sea and evolved into land reptiles didn't resemble humans in the least. Simplified the evolution process went something like this: Proteins => Bacteria => single cell organisms => plants => boneless sealife (slugs, seastars, squidlike things, ...) => boned fish => amphibians => reptiles (dinosaurs) => birds + mammals (including humans)Blue is underwater and green is on land or in the air. *Hopes Nightwolf got all this stuff back in highschool's biology classes and she isn't the victim of narrowminded religious misinformation that is passed off as an education* This general evolution schematic is backed up by scientific evidence, only some smaller details and the exact method of evolving from one step into the next aren't completely clear yet. If you ever wanna watch evolution at work you'd have to spend a few million years watching things though. Would be a life's work even if one could time travel.

*Laughs* I live in a little world called America, and everyone thinks science is the key to all problems and some christians just think that they can throw out whatever and get away with it. As you can tell christians tend to want to believe everything is god made, and I'm not sure what weirdo came up with the dinosaurs didn't exist idea. As you said, we have fossils everywhere and still coming. so for them to believe that is really much more interesting to show how far die hard christians will go to delude themselves that everything suddenly existed out of nothing. See my theory is that, dinosaurs came first, then eventually we ended up with mammals and ending at humans. The Adam and Eve aspect can be contributed as well to like the time that spartans also came into being and all that. Christian bibles are very vague on details and timelines. They say the lord made creatures and the earth first, then humans. However, they never said how or the exact process to eventually come about. It might've been a metaphorical man or a mold sorta that eventually became man today. Not to mention by the time man learned to read, write and chronicle all of this, there were already tons of races on earth and our history would've been in establishment as we all here the battles, and learn them through various ways. Anywho, I digress. Although I believe it, I'd still like to go back and see the process from big bang creation point to the spartan civilizations and how we ended up where we are today. Just because I wonder it, and live with the die hard christians doesn't mean I have to believe in it. As for the whole aqua land thing, again history channel and discovery channel watching, they found some evidence in fossils pre-lucy, so before we were literally mammals that coincided with human evolution, so they're like from really really really early creation we may have started in the water like reptiles sorta, then evolved steadily, but getting stuck in some place where we had to develop limbs and lungs for air. Like the dolphins and killer whales, basically all whales have to surface to breath air, yet their also aquatically equipped. Then there's the thought of sea lions and walrusses and how eventually they ended up with a light covering of fur and limbs, but are still aquatic creatures. So they're like maybe humans were also water creatures and something forced us to evolve into land creatures, or some such. It was interesting to watch, but I also realized, that soo many creatures have evolved so much, I probably wouldn't know what I was looking at, even if I did find that eventually humans did evolve from creatures that were mostly water based. lol Then again, that's the fun of discussing past events. You never know what you could find, or the actual process to what you seek when you go back to unfamiliar things except on tv. I'd also like to see what did a T-rex really do when it tripped. There's stories that it's smaller arms could support it a bit to stand up after it fell. Then there's other theories that if they fell, they'd just lie there and die. However more are like they'd be more bird like, and use their heavy feet to roll themselves over and stand up. So it's kinda a toss up on how that'd work out. lol

Hmm your post did remind me of something I'd want to see. The battle of Thermopylae, be interesting to see how warped the legends are and how uneven the odds of that battle really were. *suddenly clasps his hands infront of his mouth* Can't ... hold ... back ... THIS IS SPARTAAAA!!!

Rather, if one were able to change a thing and see what effect it would have. Say if Harold killed William of Normandy at the battle of Hastings, and france never replaced the danish as the largest influence on england. Would there have been a great northern empire lasting to this day? with complete control of trade in the northern seas would heavy latin influence have remained in southern europe? And how would this great northern empire have colonized the americas differently? .... I <3 counterfactualism
I think the battle of Hastings is one of, if not the most, important fate decider.
