right well been very long since i posted in this thread and my game playing his changed!...i got bored of Planeshift, ran out of things to do...I started playing WoW a few months ago on a free server like zan and it was great..so many things to do and there was that flying mount to look forward to...then the free server went down and never came back up and that was the end of that...I was considering moving to a new free server that supports WOTLK but I have no friends on there and would have hard to start from scratch in terms of levelling...my char was at level 65 I think

Then I tried Runes of Magic..this one is free to play..it's not bad, similar to WoW in some ways but not as diverse in things to do. They have a dual class system so you can be say a warrior and then choose another additional class at level 10 or 11. That's mostly why I stopped playing because while the idea is good you have to level your other class from level 1 again, and you can only do that when you make it your primary class and well it is annoying to be a low level person again when you worked hard to do some levelling..too much effort to level two classes!

After that haven't tried any more MMORPGs yet..I might try one after exams if anyone has any suggestions of a free one..when I get a better speced comp I might try Age of Conan (though that isnt free)

Just gonna bump this cuz i came across it randomly. But I always said Table top are the best. Not only is your imagination better than any graphics card, but what makes it truly a landslide is that you go out and your socializing. A good group of friend, some dice, and pencils and paper can turn into a wicked awesome time. Hell, we even had a game going in Iraq.

the whole table top thing was may before my time or at least before i started getting into playing games

i play LOTRO now..and i am liking it better than WOW..you get a bit more immersed into the environment

Guess I really have to try that one of these days. Might download the trial when the holidays come up.
