you know what bugs me a little?...armour for women in some video games..how is it that some midriff bearing chest plate and metal underwear is expected to offer protection against attacks?

makes no sense at all...i mean i know its for marketing and to make stuff look pretty but i mean come on

It does protect the parts that men appreciate the most on women, I guess.

And it looks pretty damn hot but yeah, just a little insignificant detail when you're about to be ripped to pieces by hordes of monsters. :P

I'm glad in WoW its all the same kinds of armour for men and women although they do need to prettify some of the items a little

i guess its a delicate balance :P

In wow terms it wouldn't matter, as if those were physical attacks you get hit by most times, you'd be dead, armor or none.
Especially elves against paladins.

However, I do agree, it would be nice if most of the armor you wore in wow could maybe have a color theme or pattern per region. Rather than you get a green helmet level 80, purple pants level 95, gold gloves and so on and you're going egad, color clash.

I do wonder at those scantily clad women warriors in games. Especially in recent final fantasy games. They have on skirts and falling all down cliffs and skin scraped off a knee or bottom. Then get hit with magic will singe skin or something. of course video game logic always defies well logic. I mean come on, we die in the game and can come back to life. Not really gonna follow a logical set of mind, so might as well have fun with it no? ;)

Geeez!
I love miniskirts on girls! And if it's plate armor miniskirt.. Awwwww..
I just love that logic. The more armor the less you wear. I love it!

That's why I love to play female characters^^

And who cares about logic really

I wouldn't use "Awwwww" but chain or plate miniskirts on girls aren't unappealing, no. :P

As for color themed armor on WoW, they're around. The problem is you rarely ever find all the parts of the same armor group. Which leads me to a new question ...

In games; Do any of you ever decide to use a certain piece of armor, just because it matches your outfit, even if it's weaker than another one?

If I can't decide on which one to use I go for looks. But only if the stats differences are only little if it would be like iLv 200 vs iLv219 I'd go for iLv219 for sure (19lvls is quiet difference).

*Grins* That would be a no. The point of the game is to level up, not accessorize.

Though color coding would be oh so helpful, not to mention aesthetically appealing.

However, if I see an all green level 60 outfit, and there's some purple pants and a floppy purple hat, that are like level 80, well all I have to say is color clashing here I come.

Though I'd still be on the look out for higher level armor that would be green. Teehee

I never go for looks. Looks are not important at all with wow items. I go for the one with the best stats for me. Theres no way to preview how it looks before you wear it anyway
