I was just downloading a nice song: Lux Aeternus .. when I got hit with a virus warning. It happens downloading stuff, right? This time however the virus simply opened a website on my browser before it was detected and deleted.

Now usually those sites are filled with either mature materials or more spyware. For some reason I took a quick glance at the site before closing it again though ... turned out it wasn't the usual type so I started reading. At first it was an eyecatcher with titles about the metaphysical and spirituality. Upon a closer read it became more and more clear that I was obviously dealing with a cult.

This website claimed to have the absolute truth, with capital letters, and denounced all organised religions as well as spiritual paths. Obviously they did all this with a lot of fancy words, more capital letters and a huge dose of hypocricy ... without ever giving any clear answers.

It shouldn't hold any spyware but make sure your virus protection is functioning nonetheless.

But I think a few years back, there was another viral cult like that. Don't really remember where I saw it, but know a lot of ppl warned about how it just is like a cult thing or something and don't believe it or something.

I don't remember which community as I hadn't been around very often then, heh
