Two nights ago had a very strange dream, so figured post it. Heh

Been having issues sleeping lately in past week. Maybe 1-2 hours of sleep and usually when my mom comes back home, so immediately am woken and odd between sleep and awake moments occur.

So one night half awake, half asleep, and listening to my mom bustle about answering the phone, and I fall asleep. I have a dream I'm helping my mom search for these papers, and my soul sis is in our master bedroom. My mom's room was a mess and I had come into my room, searching. moved my cds into the middle of the floor and all to find it. then she goes into the bathroom and i into her room, and I find the papers. I give them to her, then I go running off down the hall to my soul sis. There's a big black slab in the hall, and I run past it. She runs down the stairs and I'm running after her. She goes around the corner once she gets off the stairs and as I reach the bottom step, the doorbell rings. My mom tells me to get the door and I open it and nothing, but bright sunshine.

Then I jerk awake cause my mom yelled something, and she runs from the bathroom to her room and is like hannah get the door, you're better dressed than I am. I'm thinking I just got the door, but I get out of bed and dodge cds I thought I'd spread across the floor, but were in the same spot as usual, and go into the hall which is absent of the big black slab, and down the stairs to get the door, and there's sunshine, but there's also a maintenance man. I let him in and turn around to follow him and like oh no, where's my soul sis? She just ran into the living room, then I'm like that was a dream, and my whole mind is like reeling, cause as I'm walking getting dream flashes at the same time. Finally sit down and tell my mom of the dream and she's like she was searching for some papers on the phone, ears must've picked up info in my sleep.

It took a moment to wear off, but it was disconcerting.

Now that's freaky!

Have you tried checking the place where you saw the blob/slab thingy afterwards for any strange energies?

i do think your moms explanation sounds very plausible though, it has been know to happen to people....or mabe you picked up stuff from her head

Well, I was running past it and it was like a black desk looking thing. I just know one side was flat like a desktop and about 1/4 of the way down on other side, there was like a ledge or protrusion of some kind. We have nothing like that in our house. Just random. Heh.

I didn't check as I was sorta half sleepy, so just went back upstairs and crashed. But it didn't feel like anything weird when I walked by it again, just absent where something should've been.

Yeah, it happens to me all the time, though not with such accuracy. I know often I'll hear my mom on the phone before sleep and then dream of it. Just the accuracy of waking and retracing every step had me reeling.
